The South Orange Middle School Library Media Center has an awesome collection of fiction and non fiction titles and is equipped with a computer lab.
We are proud to introduce our latest collection ofover 4,000 eBooks and audio books featured on our new MackinVIA database!
Our library services a population of over 800 students, and we pride ourselves in creating a warm and nurturing atmosphere to our entire South Orange Middle School Family for in person learning, and throughout Distance Learning!
Our School Librarian, Ms. Lora Tazewell is a Licensed Educational Media Specialist and Certified Public Librarian with over 30 years of experience in the New York City and New Jersey Public School Systems.
Ms. Tazewell regards her work with South Orange Middle School students and staff as her oasis, and she loves creating an educational atmosphere that is enriching and conducive to learning and teaching.
